2008 Rainbow Camp

Camp information and registration forms are at the Info Center.  Early registration deadline for the $20.00 discount is Sunday, April 27, 2008.  The church pays ½ of the camp’s fees for members and regular attendees.  Scholarships are available (please see the scholarship policy guide in the registration packet).

Relay for Life

HACIENDA GIVES BACK FIESTA!

Hacienda will donate a portion of your bill to the American Cancer Society for Team 3 Chapel Hill when you present the attached coupon on Thursday, January 24.  Help the CHCC Relay for Life team raise funds by eating at Hacienda on Thursday.

Campers Club

Our next camping trip will be Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1.  We will be camping at McCormick’s Creek State Park (electric campground, loop A).  Check the Info Center for a campground map and a description of what size rig would fit on each site.  We encourage you to make your reservations early to ensure you get the site you want.  We are primarily staying in the front part of Loop A.

First Aid Volunteers

The First Aid Volunteer-on-Call Ministry is looking for new ministry team members.  Requirements are that you are an emergency or medical professional or have current certification in both CPR and basic first aid.  Volunteers are on call Sunday mornings on a rotating basis, once every six to eight weeks, depending on the current number of team members.  If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Dave and Cheryl Duncan, 453-5541 or Dave Whisler, 453-7388, Ext 14.

Cross Training
Body and Soul
 

Join us on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 5:30 PM in the Preschool Area

Ladies are invited to come together in Christian faith and fellowship to develop healthy spiritual minds and bodies. Work out with other women in a fun and relaxed atmosphere of low-impact exercise. Each session will include a short devotion and prayer. Invite your friends to join you in exercising your body and soul. A donation will be received for a local charity or a CHCC missionary. Label Collecting

Throughout the summer, Preschool will still be collecting Campbell's soup labels, and "Box Top$ for Education" A collection box is located in the old foyer under the bulletin board. By collecting these labels and tops you help earn Preschool money that helps offset expenses. Thank You for helping!
